A bit more about John Thomas...
My enjoyment and my passion for music was born from my 5th grade music teacher.
Years later, I would go on to radio and television as a DJ and Host-Interviewer for AFRTS, American Forces Radio and Television Service, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Among many fond memories, were my intervews with Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels and Country Western Legend, Tex Ritter.
After my service of being a US Marine, I was DJ at WBBS AM Radio in Jacksonville, NC. The Brown brothers owned this sweet spot and hired me to close out the night and close the station down each evening at sunset and I loved every minute!
