Coach Judy Romanoff in 1992 wore the title, “Voice for the Single Parent” as founder of the National Phoenix Award winning organization, National Single Parent Resource Center. Portal site: www.CoachJudy.info. She sponsored in 1995 and 1997, Single Parents Family Day, in Boca Raton Florida, and received a Key to the City, which was in local news. On March 25, 1999 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. she was honored with the Phoenix Award for “Creating Outstanding Model Programs and Resources.”
Such an honored was bestowed upon her as she took an unusual custody battle in 1990 which she won in 1992 that, included losing her immediate family, brother, sister, & parents. They became “advisories in and out of court” when she accepted temporary help to have 2 different surgeries. Upon regaining her health for the first time in 10 years, she called her brother and said, “I’ve been released from my doctors and ready to resume having my daughter returned.”
As a litigate Coach Judy learned to Navigate the Legal System Inside and Out, created a chapter of Mothers Without Custody, joined a Fathers Rights Group of Washington D.C., NOW of Boca Raton, became a Guardian Ad Litem for the courts, and assisted in Coaching others, to help reduce the risks that comes with “fighting for the rights of their children in pre and post family court issues.”
Coach Judy became a Media Personality with being interviewed from 1990 to present by Newspapers, TV, and Radio shows that has reached the International viewing audience. ABC TV 25 of Palm Beach County has on YouTube, the interview she did on behalf of, “Domestic Violence Month,” as she offered Practical Tips for Recognizing, the signs of Potential Abuse.
2002 Judy took her new found skills and created the talk show, Coach Judy Radio show of Practical Tips for Success, that ran for 5 years on I Heart formerly Clear Channel Radio station. Now she is presently on various affiliate stations and podcast platforms. Judy sponsored the Coach Judy Dental Make Over, and has interviewed such guests as, Steve Jobs of Apple, Authors whose books became movies on the big screen, to everyday people. She continues to volunteer and give back to her community as a HOT LINE for 211, including being a part of an
